Imperial Events Security Services (IESS) was started in Philadelphia, PA in 1993. Back then, Imperial serviced all kinds of clients from events to industrial factories. In 2017, we ditched our non-event business and focused 100% on what we love - events!
Today, IESS services all kinds of venues and events in 5 states plus Washington DC. From local tourist attractions, to conventions, to concerts, and music festivals, the IESS team loves what we do.

It depends on the city/state you're in. Philadelphia starts at $12 per hour but many of our venues, especially the non-convention center sites pay $13 and up.
In Baltimore, our starting pay rate is $15 per hour.
IESS fully believes in a $15 per hour minimum wage and is working on raising our rates to support that. Just 4 years ago, we were paying minimum wage. We are increasing pay rates as we are able.
Yes. We have several uniform types depending on the type of events we work. You will be provided what you need.
As a rule of thumb, we expect you to provide your own shoes, socks, belt, etc. From the waist down, our uniform is "blacked out" meaning all black.
